The task of building a website that crowd-sources policy ideas from people, allows for comments, voting, sharing, and other elements, is significant. We have built-out our preliminary technical requirements document, which you can view here. If you are interested in helping us fulfill our goal, please review this document and get in touch with our team.
As a new organization, we are looking to build our team with talented people. If you have experience in launching a new business and web portal, and are interested in our project, we would love to hear from you.
In order to make this project successful, we will be launching a Kickstarter campaign, as well as working to raise the necessary funds to build the technical infrastructure of the Reform MyGOV website and platform. If you are interested in our project and want to contribute financially or assist in our efforts to raise funding, please contact us.
Corruption is a cancer: a cancer that eats away at a citizen’s faith in democracy, diminishes the instinct for innovation and creativity; already-tight national budgets, crowding out important national investments. It wastes the talent of entire generations. It scares away investments and jobs.
I believe if a private citizen is able to affect public opinion in a constructive way he doesn’t have to be an elected public servant to perform a public service.
The American citizen must be made aware that today a relatively small group of people is proclaiming its purposes to be the will of the People. That elitist approach to government must be repudiated.
